Sorry! This CSF profile has a modest neutrophilic pleocytosis, very elevated RBC count, elevated protein, and relatively normal glucose. This is consistent with HSV encephalitis. It's great that you're thinking about this, as it is a serious disease that carries with it significant mortality even when detected early. However, note the patient's MRI findings. There's a FLAIR hyperintensity within the dorsal pons, and this explains the patient's right-sided INO and somnolence quite well.
