Sorry! We now know that this patient is hemodynamically stable with his a-fib with RVR. Especially as the chronicity of his a-fib is unclear but likely not acute in onset, we need to favor a rate control strategy. Amiodarone may very well become necessary if we lack success with the preferred first agent.
