Yes! The patient is acutely hydrocephalic. She needs CSF diversion. An EVD is indicated here. The propofol dose is low, and as we're currently worried about the hydrocephalus and intracranial hypertension, this is the one time where we should not try to hold sedation to get an exam. Once the EVD is in place and we can measure her ICP, sure, we'd proceed with doing that as usual.
