Sorry. Very close though! By choosing this answer, you clearly realize that there is an ICP problem and that the patient needs this fixed ASAP. For patients like this, however, the problem is more diffuse intracranially, so a focal procedure like a decompressive hemicraniectomy is less likely to be helpful. (Bifrontal craniectomy is less of a focal fix but also carries significant morbidity.) There is another option you have available that's easier, actually faster to accomplish, and will get the job done.
