Your pre-test probability for intracranial hypertension now is sufficiently high that a fundoscopic exam should not sway how you proceed with managing the patient. The sensitivity for papilledema is not perfect (it may also take time to develop), and it's important not to let yourself be falsely reassured by the absence of optic disc edema in this case.
