The patient undergoes tracheostomy and PEG tube placement. She is discharged to LTAC on day 21 of admission.

She regains consciousness four weeks into her LTAC admission. She eventually improves enough to be discharged to inpatient rehab. From there, she is discharged home after another three weeks.

At one year, she is nearly back to baseline, and is ready to go back to her job.
